With all this data being displayed now, I would love to be able to log trips and track energy usage and average speed then get an average of those trips. I have a normal commute along with a long distance commute I do somewhat often. I would love to have that data.

Both ABRP and Electrafi provide this. I don’t love giving my data to a 3rd party (ABRP is owned by Rivian, but isn’t as useful in this regard), but I have enjoyed having the tools.

I’ve considered the possibility of creating an Electrafi alternative that can be easily self-hosted. Maybe I should think about that more seriously.

Look into using home assistant and creating all the dashboards you want.

Had a chat with Rivian, and they said they cannot push software updates to specific Rivians that have not received the update yet, since the updates are only sent in batches. They can only push updates to Rivians who were flagged for updates that had issues with the install, so no luck to C+ members who haven't gotten the update yet.

Just an update for everyone because I thought it was interesting. I was contacted by a Rivian service rep and told that in order to get the update I needed a separate update for my recently installed tonneau cover. Today I received an update that ran for 5 minutes. I was told I would get the full update 24 hours later.

It appears the update was deliberately delayed until a software fix for whatever tonneau cover issue arose was completed.
