@bael on mine it was metal on metal "twang, or loud TING" of sorts that would manifest during low speed near full lock parking maneuvers or if the truck was off angle laterally coming off a driveway letdown onto a road etc. It was easy to reproduce, fortunately, but even though I suspected the sub frame was the culprit, the service center went through a couple other possible routes, before doing the full cast retrofit and ultimately fixing the issue.
I can't point to the subframe retrofit as being percievably better aside from the noise issue going away, just because I also had the jounce line swap done at the same time. So while the ve3hicle felt noticeably tighter and more responsive, it could have been a result of one or the other, or both.
Mine was one of the last few R1T's produced with the welded subframe (January 29/2023 build date, and I think the cast one was introduced mid February '23 with the removal of the Meridian branded speakers)
