My guide asked me if I had already downloaded it because I'd need it when I took delivery. Not sure if it's just because they want to walk you through the phone to car as part of delivery or if it's a mandatory part of the registration. He claims that pairing a phone in order to take delivery of the truck is necessary. I hope this is BS. I dont plan to link my phone with the car except for Bluetooth.
Even with "phone as a key" turned off, it still kills my phone batteryI read somewhere it kills your phone battery aside from unwanted conversations it has with R1 and GOD knows what else.
Does anyone know what are the downsides of uninstalling the app after taking delivery? and the issues you may have if you change your mind and want to reinstall it?
I have A Note10+ and the wife has a Note10. No battery issues for us at all with proximity unlock on our off.Even with "phone as a key" turned off, it still kills my phone batterynot sure if this is a fluke -note10
