Came home yesterday to find this ugly dent in the tailgate of my R1T. The truck was parked in driveway and It's a complete mystery as to how it happened. The dent looks as though it was done by a falling tree branch, but not only are there no trees within 50 feet of the driveway, there was also no detritus in the driveway or the surrounding lawn
Any guesses as to how this could have happened? As noted above, the truck was in the driveway, at least 25 feet from the road and with no vegetation of any sort nearby. I guess it could have been something like a thrown softball, if that ball had rolled around in the dirt and leaves beforehand.
