About to pick up my RIS on Friday

Any suggestions of things to look out for when picking up my RIS? I may put it up for sale if anyone is interested. White exterior, ocean interior, quad motor. Let me know.

Not sure if I will love it. Someone else may love it more that is waiting for theirs.

If you pass on delivery, it will still get sold and someone will love it. But if you are still on the fence, sure go for it and see what you think.

Take delivery and if you see anything document it with pictures and service tickets. You have a week to return it, so it's not a total loss financially (although I've heard it takes time to get your $$$ back from Rivian).

I took delivery of my R1T about two weeks ago and it's been screwed and painted together pretty well from what I can see. There is one blemish in the paint that I documented and is in my list to be fixed when I need to take it in for something more pressing.

As a side note, I decided to spend time waxing it on my first weekend as this gave me an opportunity to look over the paint closely, while also doing something productive. I figure this is a great way to learn about the truck.

Another thing I found is that it like to run with the displays on and ac running when you're out and about near it. I don't really like it sitting there wasting energy while opening and closing the doors multiple times. The simple solution for this is to put it into Camp Mode and turn off the displays...then sync your phone to the Camp Speaker and you're good to go.

Now unless there's glaring blemish in the thing, I say take delivery and enjoy!

Keep in mind that if you decide to sell it.. Rivian has been known to take 30-90 days or longer to send you the Title.
