Adaptive Cruise Control gone after service

Stuff happens so, I'm not upset with the SC. Took the R1S in to get the Gear Guard fixed. Picked the car up after a week and on the way home discovered that the Adaptive CC was not working. Messaged SC and they called to see if a soft reset could fix it. That didn't work. Now SC has set a 5/28 service to address the issue. It's a bit irritating to drive without the ACC around town. I have an out of town trip planned next week. Was planning to take the R1 but looks like that will not work. Not the end of the world but a little frustrating as my previous service experience has always been great.

Mine never worked, but does now. Mine was a bad module in the roof antenna. Probably not the same issue, but some idea of where the sensors are.

A soft reset has nothing to do with adaptive cruise and therefor wouldn’t fix any related software issue. Maybe you misheard them.
Try the hard/full reset and report back.

Appreciate the thought but they stayed on the phone and walked me through the soft reset steps. I clarified beforehand.

NB: performed hard reset. no change.

Update: SC appointment set for this Friday.

Update: Got my R1 back. Tested on highway and ACC is good. Below is the service note.

"Verified concern of adaptive cruise unavailable and driver+ inop. Scanned system for faults and found ACM not variant coded after new AXM replacement from previous service. Ran variant coding procedure."

As a point of reference, below is an exhaustive list of service performed in 1.5 years and 15k miles.

1. 12v battery replaced
2. Gear Guard module replaced
3. ACC reprogrammed
4. Small ding on driver door fixed at delivery
5. AC drain valve replaced
6. One rear window trim replaced
