well, that’s what I assumed. I was surprised they tried to stick me with a bill for issues I had reported before 1 year. When I pushed back, the response was “well, we’ll see what we can do.” That doesn’t sound like a firm policy….As long as the issue is documented before 1y/12k mi then they will honor it. Tesla has a similar policy.
I have a delivery checklist and every Rivian owner should use that when. They take delivery. If issues are discovered file tickets immediately and notify your delivery guide if the issues are especially problematic you can either reject delivery until they’re fixed or reject the vehicle and ask to be matched with another VIN
