Advertising Lease Price

Does anyone know if the advertising lease price includes destination fee? I grabbed one of the R1T and going through the financial application. I noticed that the lease price jumped up and the vehicle price is actually $1,800 higher than what was listed. I assumed that the advertising lease price does not include that $1800 destination fee.

I also noticed something interesting. There were some instances where the lease price is lower on a more expensive vehicle (rare). For example: a DL $78K with $618/month lease vs. a DS $75.4k with $633/month lease. How are these estimate lease calculated?

The destination fee is not included in the lease payment calculator on the website but is added during the application process and is why its $1,800 higher. The lease pricing on vehicles is dependent on the residual value for each vehicle set by Rivian and more or less a guess at this time at what the vehicle might be worth in 24/36 months. Each vehicle would be a different estimate based on motor, battery, and other options configured.

They manipulate the numbers to get rid of stock. But the lease payment you end up with is close to the estimate. With an above 800 credit score, it can be quite a bit less than the estimate.

Well how did I miss that!

I was looking down in the final paragraph where it discusses all the fees and taxes due at signing.
