Aftermarket door sill covers ?

I just bought the same tape you mentioned, except the clear version. How's yours holding up? I'm worried now with the clear version that dirt is going to stick to the edges because the edges are sticky.

With the clear one, you can see it's not consistently adhering behind the grip tape, maybe little bubbles or I just need to do a better job squeegeeing it. Tomorrow I'm going to add some heat to it. Not very noticeable on a white car but for darker paint it would probably show through more.

Hey, just to follow up, here are pictures of the tape in the driver's door and the driver side rear door. They show some dirt, but not really anything I'd call "wear" at this point. The rear door shows more dirt because that's where the kids go and they are dirty animals (also, there's softball and soccer practices). I'm happy with how it's holding up (I'm at about 2,300 miles), especially considering it used a very small amount of a sizeable roll of tape.

I applied SunTek Ultra Defense (11.5mil) PPF to all four door sills. Very happy with the results.

I would put PPF first, then this and caulk the top, like you would a outdoor light fixture.

What I am actually gonna do is just put PPF. Kid is too young to get through PPF for now.

Went with clear for my R1S. If I redid this I'd do all four doors at 19" length.
