A waterproof mat for the very back cargo area. One that is custom fit so don’t have to trim with scissors.
Would be nice to have rubber mats for the second row seat backs, too. Protects the seatbacks and becomes an extension of the rubber mat when the seats are folded down.

Interesting - I've never seen mats for seat backs - how do they stay on when the seats are in their upright position? Or do you manually put them down when you fold the seats down?

I have them for our Model Y. They stick on the seatbacks (which are carpeted in our Model Y) using Velcro and stay in place. We've had them installed for three years, and they haven't budged. Really useful when you have the seats folded and hauling stuff. It prevents destroying the seatbacks.

Has anyone heard of Rivian adding a "Heads Up Display" on any of the vehicles. If the company was entertaining this, I would think it would of shown up on the R2.
As cool as these are, all my glasses are polarized and as such can't see these. But I love the tech behind it.

I had a Mazda CX-9 with these as part of the OEM cargo tray--they were velcro'd to the seatbacks.

You can't just upgrade software to add this. You need the projector and there is a special coating on the windshield to project the image.

I know accessory makers watch the forums, so I wanted to start a compilation of things we're all looking to add to our R2.

#1 center console organizer - after driving R2, I hope someone makes an organizer like this one for the Cybertruck for the center console tray area. Having a couple extra cupholders is always welcome. This would be a little harder to design for R2 since it would have to account for the pop out cupholders (unless it just replaces those) and the drawer.

#2 dog hammock - I LOVE the dog hammock Tesla makes. We have both the Model Y version and the Cybertruck version. I like that the door panels are separate from the hammock and shaped like the door to cover them perfectly and the front has a nice tough mesh area to let air through and so the dogs can see up front.

#3 Tie down points in the rear hatch - I don't know how this would be possible, but would be nice to have a couple points to attach straps back there

Also I like Rivian's roof crossbars, but don't know if I like them enough to pay $700 😄 - I'll have to see them in person.

Get the Orvis hammock! I don’t have my R2 yet to confirm the fit, but they have multiple sizes. Mine has fit my Cherokee, xc40, s60, and now model y. My husband also has one for his truck, and both have to be going on about 7-8+ years. I’ve yet to find a a single thread on the quilt come up. It’s been surviving a car sick dog, a senior dog that has accidents, and lots of dirt from hikes.

Looks like this one doesn’t cover the doors
