I decided to try out the air compressor for the first time, at 10 PSI. I was using it to inflate a dog crate. Within a few minutes I heard a loud pop and whoosh. It sounded like an internal hose (beneath the trunk compartment) blew off. After this the compressor now sounds different (like there is no resistance) and no air is comping going into the compressor hose. So I added it to my upcoming first service visit. I do not think 10psi should be too much pressure for this air compressor. Is this air compressor going to be problematic?

Sounds like a hose or connector failed and should be an easy fix. I use mine all the time with no issues.

Hose is connected with some compression clamps, probably just not well seated and came off the barb.
