I feel for the OP that is frustrating. We had a similar experience recently not sure if it was lack of service or the Rivian connected with EA before we could start it in the app. Is there any sure way to make sure you get the membership pricing? The charger says to plug in and then start it from the app. But how do you keep Rivian and EA from starting the charge before the app starts it?
Start in the app first. Always.
