I have a 2023 Jeep Wrangler on stock 20” wheels running Michelin LTX 295/65/20 (35”). Smoothest running tire I’ve ever owned. 20k miles and still looks brand new. Does great on hwy (quiet) does well off roading on slick rocks of Moab. Snow rated. Does well in Utah snow. Wanted to put them on my R1T. Will it rub ? Any experience from the forum members ?

Picture for interest.

You would have to have a wheel wide enough for a 295... and the Rivian has a slightly not standard bolt pattern. That would make it complicated (not impossible). I would worry about it rubbing when you turn especially if the suspension is set to low.

If you want my guess, it would be that the tire would rub, especially in low position.

Agree it will probably rub on low/lowest. Guarantee you will not be able to fit a spare of that size in the compartment. I have a 285 where I have to stand on the lid for it to completely latch.

I think you could run 295/65r20 tires if you have the Mountain Pass Performance "LLL"s installed. I'm running 285/65r20 tires and have the LLLs installed. Pictures are at low suspension setting. The 295s are about a half inch taller and wider than what I have, but you could probably get 295s in there with the LLLs.

I have 285/65 on the stock AT rims with no issues at all, other than lowest + soft suspension. But I feel like that's the comfortable max without other modifications.

I’m running 35x11.5 - no suspension modifications; these are about the largest tire you can fit and still go into lowest without modifications. Now going around a corner with a bump in lowest is not a good idea with these tires**
