I also talked to my guide today, and he said the Cincinnati service center does not exist yet, but will be coming to Sharonville. That (& increasing production, obviously) may accelerate deliveries to our area. Best of luck with your R1S, I'm excited to see some around.
I have been scrounging the past few days - I know I saw an address for Sharonville and I just can't remember where I saw it at. There's an actual address out there somewhere of the location.
They have a service center planned in cincy in Sharonville across from the Fossil Park. Via reddit somewhere I saw and there is an address floating around.
I believe it's supposed to be 11935 Tramway Dr, Sharonville, OH 45241. There's a window place in suite B. I don't remember which suite Rivian is supposed to occupy. I've driven by and seen nothing, though. Just got a lot of looks prowling around in an R1T. Somebody in service told me they originally planned to be open in July, but that didn't happen.
Yes, they planned to deliver it. I had to call and ask and work out the road trip.
Did you receive your R1S? I'm in NKY and have an R1S on reserve, scheduled for 2014 - not sure if I want to wait, get something in the meantime, or what. All the reviews are glowing so far...
Sure did on Saturday. Drove up to Cleveland to save myself 2 more days of waiting and grabbed it myself. Sorry to add to this - but it was completely worth the wait, everything it's hyped to be and more.
Awesome pics, and congrats! Only a few more years of reading forums and watching YouTube videos... One interesting thing I learned, on the back of the truck the V in RIVIAN points to the tailgate open button.
