This past week or so I keep getting the connection lost message in the app when home. Reconnects when I get closer to the garage. Haven’t had this happen in the past even when out of town without the truck. Any solutions? Maybe the truck isn’t connecting to wifi and relying on bt?

Similar situation hit me while I was out of the country (and worried me that I was getting hit by the 12V issue!). One of the reboots fixed this...dont recall if it was infotainment or the full truck reboot.

Mine has been doing it as well. It actually resulted in the truck staying unlocked in an airport parking lot for five days because the app would not open to let me check the status after I hurriedly jumped on a shuttle bus.

The odometer in the app is about 200 miles behind and it thinks the truck has been charging at 2kwh for 300+ hours even though there’s been two DCFC sessions since I originally had it plugged into 120v at work.

The app also doesn’t know where the truck is - the entire time it was sitting at the airport the app showed the truck was at my work 100 miles away.

I've had this problem too. It seems to have started when I updated the app to the newest version. My guess is that it's because the app version is out of sync with the truck until the next patch for the truck comes out. I'm hoping that this will fix itself with the next update.

Same problem for me and it started after the app update to 1.13. Waiting for 2023.14.00 to see if it fixes itself. Tried a vehicle reset but did not make a difference.

Same issue. Its kind of annoying. Never had this problem until this week.

Has anybody found a fix for this? App and T are both on the latest releases and the problem seems to persist. I did open a support ticket but haven't heard anything back yet.

Well, I solved my own problem and ended up opening a feature request with Rivian. It turns out my T was connecting to my guest WiFi that requires a web login before it has internet access. I deleted that, connected to my private wifi and everything started working.

The service person agreed the truck should disconnect if it can’t get to the Rivian server after a period of time so they opened a feature request.

I think I found my issue too. TCM went bad. Seemed to be a slow progression...then a soft reset did it in. But bluetooth still works so as long as I'm not far from truck the app has connection
