Apple Music quit. WTH.

My Apple Music is MIA. Just quit the other day. I‘ve tried software and system resets to no avail. The display says it‘s “loading content” then says ”No media available here.” And no, I’m not out in the sticks with no service, and my Connect+ and Apple subscriptions are paid up. Anybody found a fix for this.

To rule out Connect+ or lack of, try connecting to your home WiFi or phone hotspot to see if that works.

Can’t say mine has ever just quit entirely but it has gotten hung up on the “loading content” a few times and I found that switching to another input like BT or FM for a minute them going back to Apple Music restarted the app and it worked again… Mine has functioned much better after the last 2 updates though. Not as many connection issues.

Apple Music works fine when using my iPhone and the Bluetooth connection. Of course, that requires that I have the phone and it doesn’t sound as good. Up until yesterday, I never had a problem with Apple Music.

I had this happen once a few weeks ago. I tried all the stuff you did, and eventually simply logged out of my account, then logged back in. Works fine now.

Mine does it most times transitioning from WiFi to cell. Have to go back to home page and wait for it to seeming reload and then it resumes again.

Apple Music still needs work for sure.

But...mine does come back and what you are explaining is dead in water. Hopefully a sleep cycle fixes it.

Yup. It acts like it loading, but never does. It’s been like this for two days. I will try to log out of and log back into my Rivian/Connect account to see if that does anything.

Signed out of and back into my Rivian account with no luck. Did the same with my Apple Music account (in the car) with no luck.

Right now, I at home. However, I’ve done plenty of driving in the last 48 hours. Wherever I‘ve been it has not worked. Yesterday, I was driving over the Sierras and thought the crappy AT&T coverage might have been the problem. However, when I got back into known coverage areas, the issue was the same.

Mine started doing that today as well. I have not had a chance to try any of the remediation steps folks are suggesting. I’ll try them tomorrow.

interesting enough, the channel I had playing at the time continues to play and cycle through songs. It is just the menu system that appears to be missing.

Switch to the radio or Spotify or Bluetooth then switch back to Apple Music.

Do other services work, Spotify etc.? Within your vehicle connect to your phone’s hotspot (WiFi Not Bluetooth) or your home WiFi and try Apple Music.
