any thoughts on when to rotate the AT tires on RIT? Is it a good idea to rotate in the spare as well?

It's easier to DIY the rotation if you include the spare. I try to estimate how many miles I'm going to get and let this be my rotation interval guide. For my 22's I need to rotate every 6000 miles with the spare.

BTW: I'm getting ATs installed now and will probably rotate them each time I mount them seasonally. No spare for this case.

I just did a rotation with 20 ATs bringing in the spare at 7500 miles, a little bit later than I was originally planning to. Did myself at home. The fronts were wearing a little more than the rears, getting to about 10/32 (9-11 depending on where in the tire), while the rears were at 11/32. I brought the spare up to the front, and shuffled around the rest to try to balance the wear over the next 5000miles when I'll plan to rotate again.
