The stock was down on the expectation of huge cash raise for the Georgia factory. As I predicted last week, if the raise is less than the market expects, the stock would pop.

That happened today as Rivian announced they’re not going to bleed cash into Georgia factory for the time being.

However, the R3 reveal/vaporware pump suggests to me that they still want an excuse to raise more cash. It’s a big unknown how much they will want, and the stock could move in either direction once that is announced.

I don’t see any real upswing unless the reveal comes with a surprising news, the leak has given us all details about the car already.
