Bluetooth calls have no audio after 2024.27.01

Issue - phone (android 14, s23 ultra) pairs/connects to Rivian (R1T), phone calls can be dialed, phone calls can be received BUT no audio/mic access in the car once a call connects. Calls are only working over the phone. My Bluetooth says it's connected to Rivian Audio (camp speaker not paired).

Troubleshooting - Bluetooth audio works fine, unpaired/repaired phone, tried with audio and/or contacts also synced or not synced, soft reset infotainment, checked phone volume was at 15.

This started after the newest update. Is there anything else I should be trying before reaching out to service - I feel like I'm missing something simple? Phone calls worked prior to the update so the timing could be a coincidence.

Check the volume controls on the Rivian? There are different volume controls for phone, for music, for navigation, and for Alexa. If the phone is not muted, change it to force a new value to be saved. If that doesn't work, soft reboot, then if that doesn't work do a hard reboot.

Have the same issue. I try to enable the audio on my phone in the Bluetooth settings and then it is disabled immediately. These Rivian releases get worse and worse.

I experienced the same symptom, it improved after deleting all phone profiles but the phone still won't handoff the call to the R1T. I take a bit of comfort knowing it's not just me as I've seen some stories about frayed wires and other issues that can cause this.

I had the same thing happen to me. I rebooted my phone and got audio back.

If a reset of the Rivian does not work, I suggest you verify it's not your phone. A phone reboot and/or repairing of the Rivian may solve the problem. I have not seen this on my R1S yet, but I have experienced similar with other vehicles. More than once the phone was the problem.

Thanks, all. I'll reboot the phone and attempt again. I read for Android I can reset Bluetooth and wifi to default and I might have to try that as well, but I'm not very excited to have to pair all Bluetooth devices again.

I have the same issue, rebooting phone and car didn't have any impact either.

Same issue here! Was just coming to post about this. Hmmm I'll try rebooting phone, re-pairing it to the car, and if that fails, hard restart the car.

I tried a few things so I'm not sure what the fix was exactly, but it's working again.

Removed phone from car, unpaired phone from Rivian, restarted phone, re-paired the phone.

My car also did a deep sleep today following the soft reset from yesterday. My audio also sounded better this evening, so I'm not sure what's what.
