I also have noise issues, but the service center just wrote it off as "cross winds". Not sure what makes the Rivian unique so that it is the only vehicle I drive that catches these mercurial cross winds.Resolved - for my issue anyway. Loud wind noise at ear level and seemingly triangle window. Sounded like the windows were almost cracked open.
I've had 3 SC appointments to sort this out finally. Door adjustment the first time to close the gap in the A-pillar, which didn't solve the wind noise. Second visit replaced the triangular window and sealant...surprisingly also did not solve it, but did make it worse which was productive for troubleshooting. Third time was focused on the door exterior trim. Technician completely removed the door trim (specifically all the shiny black plastic) and re-sealed everything. Of note, the black trim was very slightly wavy up through the a-pillar...and I mean ever so slightly. The tech and I both debated on if that would really do anything. Short answer, it definitely does. The loud noise at ear level was completely resolved and now silent.
That made the noise from the triangle window easier to pinpoint. The forward most corner of the window was sticking out past the door frame about 1/16th in due to improper seal most likely. Resolved as well and now the cabin is near silent.
Moral of the story, I'm surprised at how much the smallest detail in trim has on flow for this vehicle. If you have nuisance wind noise coming from anywhere it is likely trim protruding from somewhere - and you need to look extremely close for misalignment.
For those with roof glass noise, look at the panel just forward of the glass as the aft end of that panel is only secured by sealant as well. You could have some wariness up there if the technician pressed too hard during application, etc. ALSO, pay attention to the rail trim that overlays your rooftop cross bar connections. That black piece that runs the length of your cab with cutouts for the mounts is loosely secured with 4 press fasteners and not sealed beyond that. That apparently was by design, but I had them seal that as well which resulted in no roof noise.
Hope this helps someone. Service is learning everyday, so try to stay patient. Burden of being an early buyer. Awesome vehicle!
It did come back from the SC with painters tape across the transition to the roof glass the full width of the vehicle, so they were clearly testing this. How they made a final determination without removing it is questionable.
