Can Standard+ and Performance be unlocked after purchase?

If i buy a Standard Battery and Dual Motor R1S (or T) , is the expectation that the the added capacity of Standard+ and Performance Package (sport mode) at a later date for a cost ?

There was a Reddit AskRivian that said Performance could be. Sales and Support told me they haven’t been given much info on Standard+; they didn’t even know if it’s a physically different battery (it is, though, compared to Large/Max)
