I was stopped at a red light, and my front and right cams caught a non-injury but pretty high-speed rear-end fender bender in the left turn lane ahead of me.

I didn't stop, and don't have any of license plate info, but I do have footage, which pretty clearly shows what happens.

Now what? I''m happy to provide it to the police, insurance, whoever else needs it. I just don't know who to contact.

Gear guard worked perfectly, too. After seeing the accident, I tapped the record button, and it saved it as an event, catching the incident. It also recorded the entire drive as I believe it usually does, from all cameras. Pretty cool.

The local PD or Sheriff with jurisdiction.

If you got the contact info for either of the involved parties (the one on the "receiving end" would be more appreciative) definitely offer to send it to them. But since you say you didn't stop, that's unlikely. Otherwise, local police if they were called out. (Which it sounds like you wouldn't know, since you didn't stick around.)

Yeah, it happened across the street in a busy intersection, other bystanders/witnesses got out to help, and I was in a turn lane with no way to pull aside. Plus, at the time of driving I really had no idea if I had caught any video at all; didn't have a chance to check until I got home.

This happened to me once. Called the local PD front desk, said I had dash cam of an accident on x and y. They took my phone # and the officer in charge of the investigation called me a couple hours later and then provided me an link to upload.

He asked me on the phone if one of the cars didn't have its headlights on (as was claimed). Nope. Hopefully this helped the person not at fault.

I caught an accident and stayed on the scene. The officer on site gave me a link to upload and send in my footage.
