Changing my name on my profile

OK. I have looked all over the truck settings, the mobile app, my account on the website—I must be missing something.

When I choose my profile on-screen in the vehicle, it is showing my full first and middle name. This is the name on the title, and my DMV registration. It’s my real name, but I never ever ever use it in real life. Now there it is on the screen whenever I drive. Super weird. Is there really no way for me to edit this?

In the Rivian app under Manage Account --> Personal Information it literally says "To edit your name or email, please get in touch with our support team".

If you really want to try doing this without contacting support, can you create a new driver profile with your preferred name and just use that one?

Yes but if your wife or husband has a profile too you're limited to two AFAIK

I had mine changed - it took a few days and was pushed to my R1. My guide initiated the change.

I have three profiles on both our trucks. One for each of us and a 3rd for Electrafi data. Not sure what the limit is... you just invite a new driver you will need a seperate email address... or as others have said just contact support

I thought I read in the owner's manual that you can have something like 16 profiles. Could be wrong as I was just skimming through it yesterday, awaiting my Saturday delivery.

Did you ever get the "owners" name changed? Customer Service changed my account name but my profile name is still the same. My Rivian (EVelynn) has two owners or profiles with me and my wife.

Yes. As suggested, I emailed my Rivian guide and asked for the change. They replied after they made the change and within a few days, the change showed up in the truck.

(Note: This was nine months ago—I do not know if the process has changed in any way since then.)

Speaking of “names” it appears some people who have named their cars have some awesome names-like EVelynn!! Mine is Vivian. Anyone else?
