I'm having a little trouble with my climate scheduling. I set the climate scheduling to a certain time and it doesn't come on. So I tested it out with set it for a certain time and set it on high and it still doesn't come on. Is there something I'm missing? I don't understand exactly. Has anyone else had this problem? I did call customer service and they did tell me to do a factory reset so I press the two buttons to do a factory reset and thought maybe now it'll work but it still doesn't work. Any help would be great. Thanks

Others have definitely had similar issues. To my knowledge there isn’t a clear solution yet.

After it first rolled out I thought it wasn’t working for me because it does not show in the app that it is on like when you manually turn it on. Yet when I got to my truck it was nice and warm. So it was working but I could not tell via the app??‍♂

My climate schedule always works (cabin is warm, seat heaters on etc) but what I can’t figure out is the battery preconditioning. Sometimes my battery will be 50*, sometimes 70*, and sometimes about 100*. I can’t figure out what causes what….

sometimes about 100*.
I've never heard of anyone having this. Are you doing a DC charge the day before? Do you have your navigation set to a DC charger overnight? Is it actually 90+ degrees in your garage? Would be interested in figuring it out for those cold days where I might want to take my truck to the track.

No, I’ve only DC charged the truck a few times in its life and never around home. The garage is probably 40-50* ambient temps. I saw 100* the other day leaving at 5am for a ski trip - I set to precondition by 5:10am and asked to pull from the charger to maintain battery. I have a charging schedule set to only charge from 9p-6a so wondering because it was within this window if that had something to do with it.

The scheduling only works some of the time for me. No rhyme or reason to it. Some mornings nice and toasty as scheduled and other mornings icy cold. I now check the app to see the cabin temperature and if it isn’t warm I manually activate the climate control.

When you create a schedule, scroll down and toggle the 'energy usage.' vehicle needs to be plugged. Also, since the last update, our vehicles have experienced random reboots. Need to toggle again. Same applies to the hotspot...all the same symptoms we experience after an OTA update has installed.

I don't think that's 100% true there Mr wsea .,.. The reason I say this is because energy usage means that if you want your climate scheduling to work and pull it off of the house or the charging center then you use that but if you are out in a snowstorm at Mount bachelor hypothetically wanting to ski all day and your vehicle is not plugged in You can schedule a warming. And that's how the system works. Now if someone would like to tell me it doesn't work that way then I would love to hear it and if they have proof that it doesn't work that way I'd love to see it. Because that makes scheduling climate stupid because we have to be plugged in all the time

That's why people shouldn't hack other people's threads. Because this has nothing to do with battery preconditioning. Oh my word sorry about that

Disagree. Warming up the battery happens in scheduled drive if you are plugged in
