Hi,
I have about 24000 miles on my R1T and noticed clunking sounds at low-speed acceleration and deceleration. I brought into Brooklyn to ask it was safe. A tech said there was a loose bolt and tightened it and said to wait for my upcoming appointment for service and they will go into more testing. They had the truck for 12 days and said it was all within specs and that it was safe to drive. I also had it in for heated steering wheel and they said it was normal for the temp to drop. Both these things did not happen with the loaner they gave me. Anyone else have these issues?

I have had a clunk since delivery. Happens primarily on acceleration, and is a very noticeable thump (versus what other people experience with constant clicking on the half shafts).

I have the occasional clunk going from decel to accel and I have had the washer treatment done twice. But it is rare but still happens. When it gets colder outside the grease in the splines is thicker and will mask the clunk.

I also waited months for this appointment.
Problems were wind noise, steering wheel not staying hot, camp speaker BT connection problems, Batter cooling fans shaking the floor/pedal /noisy, clunking sounds at low speeds (was one of my major concerns), phone pairing problem and hood fluttering. The only repair work they actually did was add glue to the hood liner to stiffen it up. All the previous complaints were all within specs. They spent 1/2 hour on my major complaint which was the clunking, and the truck still does it.
They kept the vehicle for 11 days and according to the service receipt did 8 1/2 hours' worth of testing which they claim that 'everything was within normal limits". I thought the reason for keeping the truck in the shop so long was parts were being ordered. To my disappointment nothing was fixed.
To add to my disappointment, the vehicle was left outside near a construction area and fully covered with dust, even the inside mats were filthy.
During the 11 days of service, I had a loaner truck which has none of the noises or clunking and the steering wheel stays hot for hours even during 60-degree weather.

I had this problem, first tech said it was within the specs but insisted it is not . Then I drove with technician and showed him when the clunk happens. He said he can fix it. Left it there for 4 days he said he has to take front Axel and clean the old grease and put new "approved" grease. The noise went away . That was more than year ago and now I am 41k miles and butter smooth

It seems like many of the staff are not on the same page. You can get different respnses to the same concerns.

I just had my R1S in for service to address a clunk that was intermittent but would typically happen on initial acceleration from a stop and was could be felt through the dead pedal in the drivers side foot well. My repair took 2 days and they found a loose coolant line that was causing the clunk as well as an oil leak from one of the half shafts that I didn't even know about yet.

If your symptoms match mine maybe something to have them look at

They should be able to diagnose and repair after 11 days of service
