I couldn’t resist driving past the service center today to see if my truck was in the lot.

Tuesday is a long way from today to take delivery!

My wife has the 3D mats in her Y. They catch all the dirt and slush which I like. The only thing I don’t like is that they show all the dirt really quickly.

So my plan is to use double sided velcro between the 3D mats and the Chilewich mats sitting on top … so I can quickly dust off the Chilewich mats weekly and clean the 3D as required.

At least that’s the plan.

can’t be any different than the WeatherTech mats which are black. They show immediately but easy to spray out.

If you just don’t wash the truck then the mats blend in. That’s my approach to it.

Congrats to all! My R1S is enroute from Normal to Denver.... Checked on Wednesday, it was not there yet. The Sc is still packed, they told me they are getting 10-20 vehicles a day from Normal. That's pretty amazing honestly.

I love that all of us have been discreetly going by the service center and taking pictures of what we hope to be our actual trucks. It gives me hope that there are other people just as crazy as I am lol.

Well they won’t tell me if it’s mine… but it’s my build and I was told it was on its way….

I was told it’s be 6 weeks after I got my VIN “off the line” and 2 weeks later it’s at the Denver SC … fingers crossed your situation is the same and that’s your R1S.

When I was at the SC ‘discreetly taking photos’ the other day the gate was open and I kept waiting for an opportunity to accidentally wander in and check my VIN … one of the employees must have sensed my intent and pointed out the employees only sign that I’d failed to notice.

What’s crazy is that it was relatively easy waiting for a year when it was a concept. Once i got the guide and the 8 step email I went feral … I gotta have it now!

This forum is my only outlet as, the family is fed up and doesn’t want to hear anything else about how I’m going to set up my bike and ski rack and how the 4 motors and drive modes work etc etc.

This is how I got my Delivery Day -4 Rivian fix. Went down to Lake Pueblo for a nice ride. Charged at the Rivian waypoint. 7.6kw … +30% charge while I rode.

That’s hilarious. My wife wants to hear nothing more of this damn vehicle and the only people that share my excitement are my two boys.

I totally agree. It was easy waiting until I got my eighth step email and now it’s been brutal for the last month.
