Hey all, I am hoping some of the more technically inclined in the group might be able to help get Comma AI working on the Rivian platform. For those that don't know what Comma AI is, it's one of the most advanced self-driving systems on the market, and it can be added onto all kinds of vehicle models including Kia/Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, Volkswagen and more that have adaptive cruise and lane centering capability. It works on every road, and in my experience, is absolutely excellent - second only to Tesla FSD. I have gone several hours in my previous Kia Telluride on I-95 without touching the wheel or pedals at all. There is currently a group trying to find the ACM or confirm where it is? I am not nearly as knowledgeable as others in the Discord channel about exactly what is needed to make it work - only that the ACM provides the necessary signals for the Comma AI unit to communicate with the vehicle. So if anyone might be able to help, please join the Discord or let me know and I will pass it along. Thank you! https://discord.comma.ai/ - Join the Rivian Channel Here's a video from a few years back (the system is way more advanced now) demonstrating what Comma AI can do. This worked pretty much flawlessly 95% of the time on a 2020 Kia Telluride. Also worked pretty well on my 2018 Stinger. Imagine what we'll be able to do if we get it working on our Rivians!
