Compact Spare Tire Installation

Did your compact soare tire come with a cover as shown in the gear shop? Just checking what others got because mine doesn’t.

I got mine installed last month and didnt bother to check. I will check and let you know as I was also wondering if we were supposed to get the plastic tub that came in the GEN 1's when they had their spare as well and I know that didnt come with it.

This is how mine was installed by mobile service in November 2023.

Not a cover but the back side of the moulded foam container for the jack kit. Design and orientation of the kit did change in '23. See R1S Owner Guide, both versions documented. Same info should also be in the Tow Operator Guide.

Ah, I wondered about size too. One size spare tire for all wheel/tire combos and sizes?

There is only about an inch difference in diameter (33 and 34 inches) between the factory tire options. That spare would not be an issue running in an emergency with those tires.
