Compass Display

Is there a way to force the compass on the driver panel to display all the time? It pops up every once in a while but then goes away.

I think mine is there all the time if I don't have a destination set in the nav. I think that's how it works!

I think it shows up if you're driving offroad or if Rivian doesn't know exactly what street you are on, because 95% of the time I see a street name at the top of that window. I think the display fails back to the compass view when there is an issue or poor connection with Google maps, but I agree it would be nice to have an "Always on" setting.

I, personally, would much prefer the street display. Mine used to show the street name and a basic direction of travel. Now, for whatever reason, it only shows the very basic direction of travel and the town or nearest town I’m in. Both are pretty useless info, as far I am concerned. It would be nice to have a couple of driver selectable options for this box. At least, give the option to choose the street/road/highway or the town, for those who want that.

Just went for a quick drive and with no nav selected I get the small compass direction symbol (N, S, E, W etc.) and the name of the city. So, I think things have changed or the last time I saw the compass I was "between" towns!

Try Gauge View. It is always present there in degrees. I am not an engineer, but I want my truck to look like I am. My center display is on this view, and I have CarPlay on a third party screen above the center display.
