If you go to the California site Rivian is not listed there. They will have to apply for that program to be included. I asked CS about this awhile ago but got no real answer. Probably a great question for any CA residents that get a guide reach out to see if they can track down if they are applying and what the status of the process is.

It is worth noting I did see the R1T on the site for the carpool stickers a couple of weeks ago but not the R1S yet. That led me to believe they may be still working through all of this paperwork.

Id hope so for those who are local but then again because of IL laws they may not allow direct to consumer and may have to charge a destination fee to portray non local direct pickup.

It’s $2000 for the California Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) which is a traditional tax rebate. The California Clean Fuel Reward is a $1500 reduction off the purchase price at the time you buy the vehicle. Tesla lists both options in their configurator, so I would expect Rivian to take advantage of both.

It doesn't show the Colorado tax credit yet. I think the Rivian qualifies for $3500 in Colorado.

It would be nice if we could change the interest rate and the sales tax to get a little more accurate on the payment.

The cheapest apartment currently listed in New Hampshire is $750/mo. The sales tax on a loaded Rivian would practically pay for a year's worth of rent in New Hampshire. Conclusion: buy a Rivian in NH and get a free NH vacation pad for mountainous adventures?

Oddly, it does not let you put a 100% deposit down to just calculate the final price.

The sales tax as well, looks like they are using 8.5 as the rate for CA, in my city it is 8.75 so seems like they do not have the latest rates or are not using your address when calculating it. Does not include registration in the calculation either.

I know Long Beach is 10.25%

Edit - Might be more proof they are working on the tax incentives, for the R1T it shows but with an N/A, the R1S it does not even show in the estimator;
