This may be old news as most people, at least those paying attention, are already aware that last week Ford called and offer 12k off (excluding the tax credit) the Lightning ordered by The Count (which the local dealer has not been able to shift). The XLT+ "long range" would be about 56k with the tax credit (before sales tax+title
+doc ripoff fees).

The timing is certainly suspect, seeing how Ford officially stopped all production of the Lightning on Feb 9.

The Count's Lightning was blended in early August 2023; sat in dearborn for 6 weeks; delivered to dealer with a "stop sale" order and sat for 8 weeks for a fix before The Count told them thanks but no thanks. It has been sitting on the lot ever since. Quality control isn't Ford's strong suit.

Did Count tell Ford that he ordered an R1T due to their incompetence - just to rub salt in the wound?
