Creaking Sound When Turning Steering Wheel Fixed Twice So Far

I have brought mine in twice now and they still havent fixed it. Very frustrating for those who have OCD with this stuff.

+1 - started on a new Gen 2 where my previous truck didnt have it.

another thread mentioned a metal spring is the culprit - I guess I'll add it to my list for the first service visit.

I had the clock spring replaced and it didnt fix it. On my own, I found that the top of the airbag cover if you press down or up on it stops the noise. I wedged a piece of ez-pass velcro folded over and it has stopped the noise for months. I am willing to live with the aesthetics of it if the noise is gone.

Same here since day 1 of delivery which was a week ago. No idea what it is but will keep watching this thread.

I have not hear mine now for about 3 months.
