Cut in sidewall, safe to drive?

I would replace as soon as possible, sidewalls flex so every rotation is putting pressure on that gash, this is the type of damage that can cause a blowout. Not worth the risk driving on it in my opinion.

The cut opens up because of tire pressure. IMO it's not a minor cut and its better to spend the ?

This is the way. Please be safe. If a shop says it needs to be repaired, then don’t use it as a spare. Annoying, I know.

Without knowing how deep the cut or crack is, it's hard to say.
