Delivery Questions

Trying to get some feedback as to if this process is typical. Picked an R1T from the store on Monday and I was assigned 13xxx VIN, Completed 6 of 8 steps (delivery and payment pending). Guide has said the vehicle was in the SLC location but I have not been contacted for a delivery date. Do they usually wait until it shows up in my location (Denver)?

Yes, you won't have the option to schedule delivery until it is ready to be delivered. I'm not sure about typical times with a store order, but if it's coming from the factory it might still be another month.

It took roughly 3-weeks until I got the ”schedule delivery“ alert. The truck was sitting at the IL plant and shipped to CA.

For us it only took a couple days for it to ship from the plant in Illinois to Minnesota. I stayed in contact almost daily to check on the progress so not sure if that helped or not. The whole 8 steps only took a little less than two weeks from picking it out in the shop to delivery.

I have been impatiently waiting for step 8 to unlock since mid Nov.
The weekly reports of people getting a truck in 3 days was maddening!
Just got email about step 8 unlocking this morning, earliest option was this Friday morning.
All in it will have been just over 3.5 weeks, my guide estimated 6 weeks, so I'm a happy camper

Had to switch cars but I am told its on the ground in Denver, where I live...TBD on time from selecting a new vehicle to delivery.

I’m on the last step before I take delivery on Saturday.

I haven’t sent by payment (step 7) but my Guide said it needs to be completed by 4pm tomorrow in order for me to keep my 1pm Saturday delivery appointment.

I planned to inspect the truck before finalizing step 7 at the SC but my Guide reminded me about the 7-day/1k mile return for a refund window.
