While I agree that Rivian is unlikely to be bound here, it’s a closer question than one would think. Funny enough, the most helpful fact Rivian has on its side is that, generally, this forum believed the offer to be a bug.Not likely. Advertisement is not a contract but an invitation for the customer to make an offer.
Rivian has the right to decline the offer.
You should report your experience to Rivian. It sounds like someone should not be in sales or working as a guide. Most Rivian employees would not have told you something like that.Yeah it was live for a bit and no they will not honor it (at least in my case). I had been working with a guide on a deal and thought they had changed something for me. I was obviously disappointed when I was told it was a glitch and they would not honor it. And to make matters worse the guide is now blaming me for believing it was real and told me “The company has never offered a 0%APR and it likely will never be as low as 0.99% again. That is the reality “ which is absolutely untrue. So I’m pretty upset now and the thought of giving them a $115k feels kind of ridiculous right now.
What a great way to put off your potential customers.
Whatever the sales guy told you, this is false. They have offered 0% with no down payment on the Quad before. I bought one two months ago with this offer - 0% w/no down. I had a choice to pick either 60 or 72 months length.

Was this during the Feb/Mar promotion or recently and they cut you a financing deal due to your issues? I only ask because I applied for/approved on the 0/0.49% back in Feb/Mar and had a vehicle which was coming in only to back out due to the color spec (really wanted light interior due to heat).i just signed .49% for 72 months on my replacement R1S. My first one had a pretty horrible paint defect. My documents are signed.
Feb was 0/60 and 0.49/72When I was at the local Rivian space, he told me there had been 0 percent and .9 percent deals for R1s over the past several months, and that they vary the terms regularly.
Sadly, not likely for a while for the R2. But I have 821 credit rating (and it's going up), so I can probably find a good deal elsewhere if Rivian doesn't cut me a good rate.Feb was 0/60 and 0.49/72
Apr was 0.99/60 and 1.49/72
It's all about timing... we just missed it:Gimme that on a quad lol
I suspect R2 incentives (lease and finance) will be minimal if any.Sadly, not likely for a while for the R2. But I have 821 credit rating (and it's going up), so I can probably find a good deal elsewhere if Rivian doesn't cut me a good rate.
