Thanks
Yes, the Beanstermeister can get himself into the tent on his own
the bit rolled up at the top of the ladder is the doggo rtt ramp from Desert Armor.

That unrolls and straps to the ladder to make a walkable ramp.
Here it is deployed

  1. Correct
But I’d say take it a step further
    Don’t buy the 1”angle
Use the same size angle for everything
Only reason I ever used the one inch was I had it laying around
Using the 2” angle would help avoid making the platform too low and having to deal with avoiding the top of the slides as well

So the buy list should be one 2” x 1/8 x96” angle aluminum and one “skinny” unistrut

  2. OK got it. Thanks. Seems like that should work.

So I’m swapping the stuff out for the extrusion I got

I won’t be hacking the angle aluminum as I think I can reuse in other parts of the build
But if building from scrap
You could absolutely have an 8inch (minimum working length it looks like) length at each corner to bolt to the unistrut and have 4 screws/bolts going into the

I mostly have the extrusion integrated.
I'll post a more detailed write up s00n.
Spoiler Alert:I like the angle aluminum and uninstrut better.
So much so, I'm working with a local shop to fab up some hardware that would enable the purchase of just the slides and the hardware and that would work as the full kit.
More to follow on that.

I do like the inner channel of extrusions though.
