I only use the phone. I do carry the card in my wallet though.

As for fob, I will be going to a resort where they only have valet parking so I will bring the fob for the first time (never used it so I better make sure its linked to the vehicle :) ). I will also attach AirTag to it so that I know where the fob is.

Phone only. I’ll probably leave a keycard in the vehicle as well for valets. My wallet sticks on my phone and is already maxed with DL and 2 CCs. The card has a diagram on it for the valets. I’m not worried about it. Or I’d just show them how to use it in about 15 seconds.

Some people have complained about valets scratching up the areas where you are supposed to hold the keycards. It does take a little while for the truck to recognize the card, long enough to where someone may think its not working. If you use the keycard for valets, make sure you time how long it takes for it to activate yourself, so you can let them know.

I usually have all 3. In the garage the PaaK is disabled so I use the fob to unlock the car, don’t want to have to pull out app and unlock that way. Still have trust issues with the car locking itself when I walk away so I lock with fob.

Neither the key card nor PAAK work on my truck. Awaiting service..
Been there. Check your compressor in the rear.

I just went through the same situation. Check the rear compressor in the truck bed. When you open up the flap when the truck is unlocked, is the power on? I was told that when the Bluetooth module dies in the driver door handle it usually takes out the fuse shared with the aux air compressor. When the Mobil visit tech showed up he went to it and showed me how mine was dead. A new driver door handle/module fixed the key cards. Oddly after that when the latest software upgrade was pushed through it allowed my phone to pair as a key for the first time in a month.

Always the card for emergent situations, never the fob. Paa(PITA)K is my primary, because apparently I ❤ fishing the phone out of my pocket so that the truck recognizes it.

Perhaps you should reconsider wearing skinny jeans (j/k). On a more serious note-I only carry my phone. Ive never carried the fob. Cheers.

Until they enable PIN to Drive (like Tesla has as an option) I will not set up PAAK.
With that in mind I have been using the fob as primary with the card in my wallet. When we go boating, I use the wristband as primary with the card in my wallet as backup.

Phone - Because I always have it anyways
FOB - Because I always have my house keys, and the extra weight is a good workout
Keycard - Because I always have my wallet, and it makes my ass look big

I loved my keyfob when they presented it to me on the day I picked up my R1T. It was unique and loved the yellow color. However I am starting to notice it's too bulky in my jean pocket and it sometimes presses against my thigh when I walk. I also carry keycard in my wallet. Is it totally safe just carrying the keycard without the keyfob? I am nervous that I am in middle of nowhere with my R1T and I can't get the car started because I only have keycard. Do you guys just carry keycard alone? Any bad experience with that approach?
I always carry my key card in my wallet just in case..and use my Fob as well. I have also used my iPhone as a backup when I accidentally left the Fob at home..

What's the difference that you see between PaaK and the FOB? What security weakness would Pin-to-Drive solve for PaaK that doesn't also exist for the FOB?

Being a person who always has to have back-ups, I always have all three on my person. It drives Opal (the R1T) crazy when I go in and out of the garage, but it keeps her on her toes.
