Dog steps for R1S?

I try not to complain much but really, people. I opened this thread solely to see pictures of your dogs. (I like dogs but I don't have a dog.) There’s just the one dog photo.

awww, sorry! How’s this? The big white dogs are occasional houseguests. The pitty & cattle dog mix are mine.

I have used on two vehicles (incl. R1S) --- posted info to another dog step posting on rivianowner$forum (had to put "$" in place of "s" as it's another forum!)

Tried the Orvis ramp but dogs weren’t having it. Which steps are working for you and your pups?

The 5-step works perfect for tailgate loading, This one is lighter than the ABS one so I can lift easily with one hand and set-up in probably 20 seconds. Expensive but solid and reliable. Only downside is that it doesn't seem too usable for 2nd row door entry because of the angles and support for the top step. Only works well for tailgate entry, but does work extremely well for that purpose.

With the 5-step, a dog can enter/exit tailgate or 2nd row but only when seats are down. If you are looking for something to accommodate a 2nd row up hammock style arrangement for your dog, I'm guessing the 4-step may work to the height needed. Here's a couple pics to help visualize. I still highly recommend this product. The 5-step is most useful for my own set up. I can set the steps up or take down in probably 8 seconds one handed.
