Dometic console mounted cooler

I performed what I believe was a reasonable search of threads and didn't find anything

I had a Range Rover Sport supercharged that had a center console mounted cooler. Liked it so much I had it integrated into a custom console in my Defender. I definitely use it on road trips. So, I would like to do something like the dometic Ford center console cooler in my ordered but not delivered R1T. My thought is to build it into the dead space in front of the current console. Can I easily source +12 volts? Any reason beyond the complexity of making it look good not to do it?

There is a 12V outlet under the center of the dash. Right above where you want to mount it.

Having center console refer in current RR as well as prev RR sport - I have to agree with Amit. I've thought about pulling one out of a totaled RR and seeing if it might fit in place of the speaker

Yea. I had one in my LR3 and missed it ever since.

You could get one for 150 ish if anyone is brave enough to try it.

Looking at the Rivan Console, main worry would be the AC ducts, and moving the USB ports somewhere.
Again, hard to tell for sure without measurements.

Or, if you had 1k to burn you can just get an extra console to mock it up haha ?

Are the LR coolers thermoelectric or compressor cooled?
