javk75,

Bummer to hear you can't order a Rivian, but welcome to the Forums nonetheless. I have extended family from PR and I hope to visit with them one day when they're back there.

I don't know if you've been lurking around here for awhile before joining, but have fun poking around the threads. Jump in and have some fun! That said, steer clear of any political humor. No matter how funny it might be, it's best to share it privately.

The main issue with PR, much like importing to Europe, is service. How are you going to get the vehicle serviced? Ship it back to FL? Keep an eye out for a PR service center, or contact CS and let them know that you're interested. The more data points they have for interest in an area, the better.

Not political at all and not even humurous....just technical information will be good....will Rivian plan to sell a and service in Puerto Rico? A straight forward answer is good enough....no need to be politcly correct....in the meantime ill keep salivating over the R1S.

That's a great question, one that's best asked of the Customer Service team. I agree with what @Craigins had to say. Not sure if I agree twice, but his advice is solid.

If they can get these to Hawaii and Alaska, they could easily get them to Puerto Rico. The difference is they'll eventually have Service Centers and Rivian Adventure Network chargers in those locations.

I can't recall having heard a word about P.R., to date. Again, C.S. is your best hope, even though you might not get a definitive answer as to if or when they may open up for business there. Rivian has made it clear they want to have Service assistance close to customers to be able to keep them taken care of. I hope they make it happen for you!

For what it's worth, I found this map of planned Service Centers on Reddit. Don't know how complete or accurate it may be, but here it is:

Please share whatever you might learn from C.S.

Again, great to have you here!
