First of all, I must say that I absolutely love the truck and have had few issues with it or service. This one is minor, but it’s been persistent and annoying enough that I’m finally posting about it here!

I’ve had the truck for about 5 months and ever since the first week, it’s had issues with the driver window switch. All the others work exactly as I’d expect, but the driver window is buggy. The first thing I noticed is the auto-up wouldn’t work reliably. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn’t. It seemed slightly better if I pulled a bit past the second detent, i.e. pretty hard, but still wouldn’t work every time. I had service take a look at it when it was in for some other stuff and they recalibrated it, and maybe swapped out the switch pack.

After getting the truck back, it didn’t really seem any better, basically the same, but I could live with it. I asked them to take another look when it was in for some (self inflicted) underbody damage and they did the same recalibrate and maybe swap out the switch pack.

Now it’s even worse! The auto up never works, it’ll go up an inch or so and then stop, and do that over and over. Even if I just hold the switch up, it will go up, stop, start an kind of shudder it’s way up a few inches before stopping. I have to release and repull the switch several times before it will finally close all the way.

For the first time, it’s bad enough that I’m going to make a service appointment for specifically this issue! Anyone else had similar struggles?

My windows are kinda weird. If I try and close both front windows at same time, one window will stop going up. Or if I try and close/open the windows and my front seat passenger also tries to close/open the window at the same time, It will just stop completely. Pretty buggy. Not The end of the world but is pretty annoying. I guess I pretend it doesn’t bother me because I’m still in full blown honey moon stage

I also find the driver window to be very annoying. It seems to be very finicky about the time of holding the switch to get the auto up or auto down to work and i always have to hit it multiple times. I dont feel like there is a real tactile difference between auto up or down and normal up and down with the button to be able to sense which one i am activating. Very annoying.

But otherwise completely love the truck of course!
