I'm currently in a trial of Electrafi, and I wasn't quite sure what the right way to submit my issues on their support page. But here's what I'm seeing by poking around:

Temperature Efficiency: It hasn't dropped below 45℉ since I've taken delivery, and it's gotten up into the 80s. Yet, the only temperature ranges I'm seeing are "5 - 20 F". If it were "5 - 20 C" that'd at least make some sense, but even then I've driven it when it was 29℃. So even it the numbers were Celsius (even though it says Fahrenheit), I'm still missing data.

Odometer History Timeline: This is blank. No data is showing up. Do I need a minimum mileage or something for this? (I have over 1100 miles at this point).

Tires: I added my tire set this morning. It doesn't appear to back-fill the drives I've made despite setting the start date to be prior to my first drive? I tried rebuilding my driving records, but that didn't fix it.

Fleet: It looks like all vehicles are currently being logged as a quad motor. Mine's a Dual Motor, and when I look at the fleet there isn't a single Dual Motor

There are only about 250 or so vehicles signed on from the looks of it, so not surprised there aren't any dual motors. I've also noted all the other issues you've pointed out. I submitted a ticket about the temperature efficiency page and asking them to display mi/kWh instead of Wh/mi. Under Help, just click on Open A Support Ticket, start typing a headline question and say you want to continue with a ticket instead of looking at support items already there.

Another thing I noticed but haven't submitted a ticket for. They seem to think that everyone charges to 90% or more...and practically no Rivian owners will do this on a regular basis. As a result, there's no fleet history for battery/full-range stats. I finally did a discharge down to 22% and charged back up to 92% and only then did I get a valid measurement showing in that page and the Wh/mi started more closely resembling reality. There's a lot to like in their tool, but it's very clear that the display is still highly reflective of their Tesla roots. Kinda wondering if any of their developers even have a Rivian.

Thanks for the guidance on opening a ticket.

To clarify, my R1T is a dual motor, but ElectraFi shows it as a quad motor (in the screenshot). So I'll let them know about that.

For context, ElectraFi is the EV equivalent of fuelly ?
I've not heard of Fuelly, but after taking a look at its website it seems to have a lot of the same kind of functionality. ElectraFi gives me efficiency stats, plots my drives, tells me my elevation climb/descent, reports battery health, and also shows data regarding the entire Rivian fleet (all other Rivians signed up with the service).

It's all hooked into the Rivian API. Makes 1 API call per minute, so it's incredibly granular.

It's the Rivian equivalent of TeslaFi...same code base. But yes, any sort of fuel economy app would be equivalent. It also gives owners a ton of data on the type of driving and charging they do. I'd be happier if it was a self-hosted application, but enjoying the data so far.

I came from aCar, later aquired by Fuelly...and yes, similar data and information provided to the owner.

Their support is very responsive. I had problems with location on both vehicles. Kept saying home for all. There are a lot of issues with it.... its in Beta... I do think its great that they are putting work into this though.

Just noticed today that my logging was turned off somehow. It shows a couple drives in NOV and zero drives in DEC when I took the family from IL to TN to SC and back to IL. I'd love to get the data on that trip.

Anyone else have logging turn itself off lately?

I am going to contact support and will report back when/if I get a resolution.

This thread's 10 weeks old ? They added the distinction after I submitted a ticket to them a while back.
Shoot, sorry. I blame the other guy for necro'ing a dead thread, LOL. I just noticed it at the top of the home page and assumed it was new. ??

Yea I didn't think my little issue needed a whole new thread, sorry.

Here is the reply that I received from the Electrafi (Teslafi) team:

  • I'm really sorry about that. In November we received a new response from the Rivian API that cleared out tokens and turned off logging. We sent out emails very shortly after alerting people that they need to login and reauthenticate but it must have missed your account. I went in and corrected things and logging is back on. I also added two months to your subscription. Sorry again.
