Just recently crossed 15k miles and have been overall incredibly happy with my truck. Bunch of small issues like squeaks, only kind of big issue was the AC not working in the heat last summer. Fixed.
Yesterday morning I went to drive as usual and when I got on the highway and tried to switch to conserve, got this warning, "ride height change not possible due to overheated air compressor". It was plenty cold out. Then I left truck to sit for 11 hours unused while I was working, still the same after. Tried a full reset, no change.
Luckily it's still drivable and stuck in standard height, so I'm just losing a bit of efficiency.
Submitted a service ticket and the soonest I can get in is almost 2 months from now, and 150 miles away, and not my preferred service center that's slightly closer and more convenient - they are 4 months out.
Even assuming they fix this without too much trouble this is concerning to me as I continue adding more miles and get closer to losing warranty at 60k. I absolutely cannot afford to pay out of pocket for major issues like this every ~15k miles. I will be giving serious thought to keeping it as I get closer to 60k.
Also concerning as a stock holder (though I still think RIVN is a great buy at the current heavily discounted price). With service centers backed up so long, there are clearly a lot of people with issues. Though some of this is expected as they've been ramping production there will be more service tickets and I don't think they've expanded service centers on par with production increases.
All of this said, I'm still very happy with my truck overall and have no regrets whatsoever about buying it. Even now over two years since launch there is still basically no competition. I'm going to miss it a lot when it's in service.
