First Ford NACS adapters started shipping

According this Mach-E forum post, adapter shipment emails are going out. Seems like Ford has their act together so far.

Hi there. Today, we’re excited to announce that the first complimentary production Fast Charging Adapters are shipping today and are on their way to Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning customers, including you!

While the Mach-E forum is now buzzing with chatter, it seems the only two that got the email were in the beta test/influencer group who have to return their preproduction adapters so might be premature to say they are shipping to us regular folks. Still in the good new category though.

How long did that take from announcement date?

Ford announces on 2/29, depending on how fast you were able to submit your request. The first ones were called out for delivery in "April" mine is in the "May" window. That was reserving 3 hours after the announcement. I think people reserving today are getting fall delivery dates.

Since Rivian announced soon after, I would hope they had a certain number allocated to them as well, but no further information as of yet.

My order number is about 1K, and did not get the email yet. Reserved Feb 29 early in the morning. Hopefully I will get the email soon. April shipping date is showing in my acocunt.

I think the only conclusion that can be drawn so far is that Ford is shipping on time. Once we see some May adapter deliveries we can start scoring Ford’s progress. As I have two Ford adapters in the May group, I am rooting for them to be on or ahead of schedule.

As for Rivian adapters, stay tuned for their first update.

Rivian said April shipments before so there’s at least one batch this month.

Mine will be here Monday (mach-e). I'm using the a2z for weekend trip and Tesla app won't let me get the discount by using membership app. Not sure if due to plug and charge or an App issue. There goes a wasted $13. Try at another station later but A2Z working great. Started out at 214kw.

I got it figured out, must select the station in Tesla app first. Worked perfect next 2 times. Got my $13+ back. Also $.33 vs $.61 at the new Pilot locations is a great benefit. Thank you Rivian and Tesla for figuring it out. Also the A2Z is super simple to use. It seemed like some the videos people struggled with the lock mechanism but mine worked great. Look forward to seeing real.lidr differences of the official version once delivered this week.
