Just to clarify, the connectors under the platform are USB A or C? I ask because most apple MagSafe chargers now are USB C.
They are A. If you look closely I am using converters from A to C. Our pucks will include converters.

How strong is the magnetic hold through the top plate with the genuine Apple MagSafe pucks?

I placed a preorder, but I didn't see a way to add additional top plates?

Great! Thanks. I’ll buy adapters for the apple MagSafe. Already placed pre-order!!! Really appreciate everything you are doing!

order placed for the black top. Thank you both for doing this as it really does solve a big problem for me personally. Can’t wait to get it.

Strong enough to hold in place. But if you were doing off roading, I'd say on big bumps it may get loose.

Gimme a sec on plates.

Just realized the included pucks are not apple pucks. Will genuine Apple MagSafe pucks fit just as securely as the ones provided? Also will going from usb-c to usb-a reduce charge speed from 15kw to 7.5kw?

Order placed, and some the comments are confusing so my clarification is if I’m using my own apple magsafe which are usbc will
Those plug directly in, or do we need c to a converters. My interpretation is if we are using usb c then no converters needed but if we use a brand that is usb a then adapters are needed

Yup. Apple Magsafe fits securely. I have been using those in my own truck, and @Wrinks has been using the ones we offer. The DC to DC buck charger allows for 15 watts to each USB individually. The iphone however will only allow full 15 watts at specific points in the charge cycle, and you will very rarely see the full charge. There are converters from A to C out there that allow for the full 15 watts.

You will need A to C converters.

Do you mind sharing a link to the one you were using to convert? I want to make sure I get one that allows for the full 15.
