Fitment question: windshield / roofline / frame / door frame

Am i just being neurotic, or this a production problem -- how the windshield and first section of the roofline are significantly lower than the frame and door frame? It's the same on both sides of vehicle.

That is just part of the design/ aesthetics of the vehicle. I just took a look at our newer F150 and it offset exactly the opposite of the R1T, where the F150's door frame body section is 3/4" - 1" lower than the roof and windshield.

That's a relief. Thanks. Does not look like a very fixable issue!

Looking at some other pictures floatng around, it seems this panel alignment is not consistent from front to rear (something that's not visible in the pic in this thread). That would seem to suggest a manufacturing issue rather than a design choice.
