That is incorrect. On Tire Rack you'll find two listings for a 275/65R20 Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus. One is the Rivian specific version which is a 116H Standard Load rated tire in Passenger vehicle metric and listed at 48 lbs with 13/32nds tread depth and a rating of 2760 lbs and max of 51 psi. The second is a Light Truck tire with a 126/123S E-load rating of 3750 lbs, max of 80 psi, 15/32nds tread depth, and a listed weight of 57 lbs.

The Rivian spec tire is NOT the same as an LT E load tire.
Your correct. I thought i erased this post.

My tire slice was in between the treads.
No damage to the sidewalls

i been looking at those Wild Peaks. ?
I'm on my second set of Falken Wild Peaks on my current vehicle, third Falken set overall. Personal experience, best I've owned.

I had two different types of BFG's (Rugged Terrain that came with my vehicle and All Terrain that I bought later) and was never impressed with their performance in wet/off road. I often found my rear end would kick out intermittently going around corners in the rain with the All Terrains, something that totally went away when I swapped to Wild Peaks. Also, despite the meaty tread, the Wild Peaks are quiet and smooth on highway driving.

All that said, you still have to pay attention to what you're driving over, I've been (knock on wood) lucky not to have any flats off road, but a Rivian is a heavy brute so likely to be more susceptible.
