Maybe I’m just paranoid, but does anyone else have the nagging feeling that this whole debacle is nowhere near over?

I’m nervous that we’re going to get another Rivian email tomorrow…

As far as customers are concerned it's over. Internally I bet it's a big, big ongoing problem.

But you can't go back from the email RJ sent. Prices are locked. Now.. subscription prices, etc.. might get a lot more expensive but the configurator prices are guaranteed for pre-order holders.

I don't think so. I think that we're good. It would be very difficult for Rivian to go back now.

I think they know that they need to stick to this commitment or they will lose a lot of customers forever. Worse, I think see-sawing repeatedly on something as important as pricing would probably kill the stock price because it would be like a beacon of mismanagement.

I really don't understand how people think like that. When I buy real estate off-the-plan I expect to pay less than an already build project. I except it to be worth more once the project is delivered, I except the same with this car.

I would pay money for a guided factory pick-up especially if it meant delivery a week or to sooner.
