Idk if I am seeing this correctly but is there flakes in the paint? Idk if I like that or not. From afar this color seems so nice.None in the daylight, only samples inside.

It looks just as nice, if not nicer, up close. The Launch Green does have flake in it. Based on some early descriptors before seeing it, I assumed it wouldn't have flake, and I was good with that.Idk if I am seeing this correctly but is there flakes in the paint? I also would like a matte PPF for my future FG+FE R1T.It looks just as nice, if not nicer, up close. The Launch Green does have flake in it. Based on some early descriptors before seeing it, I assumed it wouldn't have flake, and I was good with that.
Then I saw it, and loved it. It's not the flashy/sparkly paint that you might fear. It's still pretty subtle. That said, I'm exploring a matted PPF in XPEL. While I think it would look great with a matted finish, the entire painted surface of the truck would need to be covered, rather than maybe just the front and sides in clear. The cost of covering all painted surfaces is much greater than hitting the usual spots, especially given the extra cost I've been told to expect for matted. The edges need more work to get right, otherwise you end up with shiny bits.
I hope you get the chance to see the real thing before having to decide. Not that exclusivity makes it any better looking, but given that I was already expecting to go LG, it cemented the choice for me.
I hope to meet with the guy that came highly recommended by a friend who has had him do multiple Porsches in XPEL and previous generation wraps. Once I get solid numbers for clear and matted, I'll post them here.I also would like a matte PPF for my future FG+FE R1T.

The XPEL products are really quite amazing. Apparently, they do not yellow or dull over time, as many others have and will. Their self-healing nature is a huge plus. My friend has had several nicks and dings to the surface that he says have gone away, or greatly diminished with time in the sun.
Check them out here:

Enjen,I have XPEL on my current car -- love it! After 4 years it looks as good as the day I put it on as does the front of my car. Added bonus, it definitely makes it easier to get bugs and bird crap off the vehicle. They do warn about potential discolouration from bird crap (and the installer told me he has seen it before), so I try to clean that off fairly quick. The nice thing is, you can grab almost anything close by to clean it without having to worry about scratching the surface or causing swirl marks since it self-heals.
