Thank you for your feedback, it is important for us to hear from customers. That said, we have transmitted your feedback to the team and will improve accordingly. We are sorry you did not like the A2Z adapter, we can assure you that it is made of the highest materials and up to the highest materials. We can admit and agree that the lock is not the most intuitive mechanism. Something new will be announced soon. Have a wonderful summer and thank you for initially trusting us, it is much appreciated.

Just to provide some feedback here.

A2Z support gets an A+ from me.

The latch on my adapter snapped off on my adapter, 100% my fault as I was careless and dropped the adapter. I sent A2Z a message through this forum to see if that was a serviceable part on Monday, they responded promptly and asked for my phone number then called me. I explained the issue, he said it is replaceable and if I felt comfortable doing it he could send me the part. I received the part this morning free of charge, was able to replace it and it the adapter is back in order. It was still working with the broken lever but was not locked into the vehicle.

I appreciated how responsive A2Z was. The item I have is the original adapter not the new pro but it works great and feels like a high quality adapter. I highly recommend A2Z not only for the quality of their products but the outstanding customer service.

I fail to see how anyone (unless suffering arthritis) could find the lock difficult to understand/operate. It’s as intuitive as old school flashlights with sliding on/off switch. Are people too young to remember those?

To me the Typhoon needed only two improvements:

1. Looser tolerance with the NACS plug right out of the box. Save already apprehensive customers the shock of “oh shit, it doesn’t fit!”; i.e. do away with the break-in period.

2. Add a tactile detent/click when slider is fully in the locked position. So you know you are locked without having to look, for the shallow markings that aren’t color-filled.
